Clurch Replacement

Following from a previous post. It looks like my clutch hasn't long left, it bites at the top of the travel, I have priced the local Toyota dealer who said €750 which is not as bad as I thought it would be. I possibly could get it done cheaper at a none dealer garage, but will I get genuine parts? plus I will have a year warranty from Toyota.

or be looking to do this again in the near future.and Any thoughts,

there are other clutches of good quality on the market, that will not cost as much as toyota charge.

and there are firms who specialise in clutch fitting and will have worked on toyotas.

the price youve been quoted seems a bit steep to me.if you go down this road, check what warranty your getting for the job.

Jings and Bejabbers, Roker....if you think that's reasonable you must be Dermot Desmond's wee brother !!!!!

I would agree harwholetedly with Pajjy....shop it about, and even look at supplying Toyota parts to an independent to fit.

Maybe not so easy over there in God's Own Euro Land as over here, but you have some time before it chucks it.

Good Luck,

Big Kev
