Any Good Toyota Garage/body Workshops In Southampton?

Hi guys,

I have an Auris TR and I had a slight dent down one of the passenger door. It's not a really bad dent and the paint is hardly affected.

I went to Halford for a quote the other day and the way they do it is so dodgy. They use this card with colors to measure the indentation and they gave me the impression that they wanted to give me the highest quotation from the beginning. The staffs just walked up to my car, saw the dent and said "ooooo" without even having a look on the other side of the car to see what the door looks like without a dent! I told them it looks worse than it really is and pointed them to the other side. They still gave me a quote of £175 which seems to be the highest quotation for dents (at least that's what it says on the card they use!). However, I'm not convinced.

Therefore, I'm looking to see if there are any good garage/body workshops fellow Toyota owners in Southampton could recommend.

P.S. has anyone had any experience removing black bumper strip from the front, back and sides? Bizarrely, my Auris TR '07 comes with black bumper strips!! I have paid close attention to ANY Auris that passes me by and I'm yet to see another one with these ugly black strips!!! I'm wondering how much it would be to have them removed maybe as part of the job for the dent.

Thanks in advance!

from the under-whelming response I guess Southhampton and good garages must be a difficult combination.

As a rough guide, I've been told to expect to pay £100 for repair and respray to a panel.
