I have just bought a 08 plate 1.8 litre yaris SR in black and i must say, it is much better then i expected it to be :)

Will upload pics soon hopefully.

I have a couple of questions:

1. My steering wheel controls for the CD player dont work. I have the Sat nav option and i have only tried an MP3 disk. Is this a problem or does it only work for normal music CDs or something?

2. I want to put some HID lights in, What bulbs does it take? and also my brother has a 56 plate corolla, what bulbs does that take cos he wants them to.

I think that is is for now :)

I think you will find that mp3 disks don't play, but a Yaris owner may confirm that

I would also check the legality of after fit hid's.. There was a thread on here a few weeks ago about them and i vaguely remember the law has changed and retrofits now fail the mot, but check this one for yourself...

I have HIDs fitted in my zafira and that just went through MOT last week without any problems. I asked the MOT guy and he said they shouldnt be a problem aslong they are aligned properly.

And it does play MP3s i think it may be because i have the sat nav, therefore a different CD player to the others?

My 1.3 TR plays MP3 discs.

My 1.3 TR plays MP3 discs too. I use CD-RWs (so I can keep reusing one disc to change my playlist every few weeks).
