Servicing

According to the manual the servicing schedule is 6000m intermediete and 12000 miles full service, but the service book supplied to me (which doesn't seem to be specific to the Prius) quotes 10000 and 20000m. Is the manual incorrect, or have I been given the wrong service book ? The service book which also describes the warranty, does not mention the 8 year Battery warranty, so I suspect that it is not the correct book.

My dealer said they hadn't got the propper 'passport' as the car was too new.

I queried the mainenance periods with two dealers and they are 10K and 20K. I think the books we have are either US or Japanese. Anyway, from what I've seen on the US sites, the car has an indicator to tell you when the service is due.

I'm waiting for my 'passport' but I've also kept a copy of the brochure and a print of the web site just in case they 'forget' the 8 year warranty.
