Clutch Bite

Can anybody advise please? I have noticed the clutch bite has risen over the last few days and is at the very top of pedal travel. Car is a '98 1.8CDX hatch and had a new clutch 18 months / 30,000mls ago. Is it likely to bleed or time for another one?

Being hydraulic it should be self adjusting. If it isn't you may be low on oil. Check the header pot by the clutch under the bonnet. Also there may be air in it, try bleeding it. There is a bleed nipple on the clutch operating cylinder, just like one you would have on your brakes.

 Thanks...I have checked the fluid level and it's fine. I'll try bleeding it over the weekend ....fingers crossed.....i'll post report if it works or not.

:D Fluid level was fine, but there must have been air in the system. 2-3 minutes bleeding has made the world of difference!!
