Engine Management Light

Hi all new to the forum, i see there are some very knowledgeable people here.

Recently bought an 53 Reg five door petrol VX, the engine management light came on at the weekend error code shows 1151.

Its going in Wednesday to be sorted but would just like to know what the error code refers to.

I'm guessing from posts I've read its one of the O2 sensors but which one.?

Hi Pete, welcome to the club

I don't think I've seen a P1151 fault code before, but I'd guess it is Bank 1 Sensor 2.

The original Denso sensors are quite expensive, you can get good quality ones from other companies online.

Thanks! they are doing the work under warranty so shouldn't be a problem.

Think on - bank 1 sensor 2 is at the pulley end of the engine.
