Hi folks, I've just changed the front discs and pads on my T180 tourer and within 10 miles the TRC and VSC lights are burning. Is this a coincidence or am I missing something? I have tried the 30 minute disconnect reset technique but no cigar, been back and had wheels off just to check but all appears fine, any offerings please.

Cheers

Have you checked that the speed sensors and cables are still attached to the suspensions?

!st thing to do is re-check the work you did but in good light and preferably no rain. Once happy that everything is as it should be then you may be in the realms of coincidental faults - but this is unusual. All I know about those lights on together is that on my '06 D4D when they came on it was the ERG. Not inherently dangerous to drive with the lights on but be aware that the traction and stability controls are not there to help you out any more. Worth getting a professional diagnosis though.

Thanks fellas for your input. I went to see Mr T this morning and told him all, £57 later he fitted 2 rear brake bulbs and cancelled the two alarm codes (C1300 & C1249) & reset the system. So I reckon I got off quite lightly. Maybe the lesson here is even though its a 'yota you still gotta check it over every now and then. Lesson learned?, we'll see. Cheers Fitter and Cheers Druidboy
