Rav 4 Wheel Centre Cap

Hi Rav 4 owners. My local tyre fitter has managed to loose the wheel centre cap from one of the alloys of my 2001 Rav 4. A replacement seems impossible to source. Can you help?

alloys are as bad as shoes - they go out of fashion as soon as they reach the customer.

Post up a photo of what you need on this forum or try the wanted section. Also maybe try breakers yards - some of them are on the internet.

I ordered a centre cap from my local dealer with no problems for my 2005 RAV4 to go on the spare wheel when I kept the cover off - maybe while the wheel design is different, the centre caps could be the same?

I actually still have this centre cap (took it off again when sold the RAV4 (tight **** that I am) ) so if it is the same design, got one going cheap ;)

Thanks guys. See photo - diameter of hub top is 62 mm (ish). Hoovie would yours do for me perhaps to put into spare and how much?

sods law or what, but it has been hanging around the sitting ropm for weeks and now when I want to pick it up, can't find the stupid thing!! :censor:

I think mine is slightly different - yours looks like the toyota logo is sunken, and I *think* mine is raised, but apart from that, looks identical in size and is a push fit. Have a look at a RAV4 same age as mine (2003-2005) on the street and you should be able to tell better

Here is a pic of the spare wheel with the insert fitted it it helps .......

The part number I ordered was T42603-42090 and is described as "N/STK WHEEL HUB CAP"

Price was £8.29 ex VAT back in April 2008

cap fits a hole around 60-61mm in diameter and the front is about 67mm across

and it IS a raised Toyota logo
