1999 Jdm Celica Vvtl-I Heater Won't Blow Hot

Hi, i have recently purchased a 1999 JDM Celica VVTL-i 190, guy i bought it off had it 3 years and did very little servicing to the car which is a shame. So basically since driving it home from London i have found few problems that need sorting out.

Firstly, it seems that heater won't blow hot air, it can blow warm air for few secs but then it goes cold, coolant level is fine, aircon also working fine so im not sure what problem is this.

Second problem is that aftermarket pioneer cd player car has (possibly from Japan) drains Battery like mad when its connected so i had to disconect it or 1-2days and Battery is dead. Should i just buy new cd player and hope it wouldn't drain Battery or is there problem with wiring or something else.

Car has stock jdm wheels so i was looking for a new set of wheels possibly with tyres, anyone know any good places to buy from? I think specs are 5x100 35 to 45 offset, im considering either 17 or 18 inch.

Thanks, Yarri

Tryposting this in the celica section.... the radio - needs to be powered from somethjing like the cigarette lighter circuit so it is activated by ingnition switch.

The heater - probably an airlock.... try loosening off a hose going to the heater and see if air comes out. Some cars can be a pig for having airlocks on the heater circuit.
