Main Speakers Don't Work At Bottom Of Door But Small Ones Do Near

Hi there,

I have just bought a 2004 Toyota Avensis and I cannot get the main Speakers to work in the bottom of the doors.

Audio is being output to the small ones at the top near the mirrors/steering wheel ok so I know the radio is outputting something.

I looked in the fuse box in behind the glove box and couldn't see any item pointing to a fuse for these Speakers.....

Any ideas ?

Is there a fuse for these ?

I've also messed with the radio settings but it only does balance , treble , bass etc...

Also , I haven't an owners handbook for it to check and if anyone knows where I can download it , I would be grateful.

One of mine is the same mate. The speaker most likely needs replacing.

Is it only one spearker or all of them?

If it is one, it could be fault.

but if all, then you need to check the wires of speaker starting from the back of audio unit and tracking it further.
