hi all need help does anyone know if a levin 1.6 20 valve engine fit into a vvti 140

Of course it will fit, it's just a matter of making it fit. You can get a Rover V8 to fit in a Mini.

As for is it a straight swap? I doubt it.

as said getting the engine in is easy, getting it to run is another matter.

the ecu on new cars does more than just control the engine, so without ripping out things like the speedo etc and relacing with aftermarket, the wiring is going to be a mare.

an easier conversion would be a VVTLi conversion from the t sport, as long as you get the loom ecu and a key itll pretty much be a bolt in conversion and givyou 190 bhp as opposed to the 20V's 160bhp
