2010 Gearbox Problem

hi all, i posted up on here a few months ago about my auris sr struggling to select 4th gear (but not all the time), now after going to mr ts 3 times and having it adjusted its still the same.

id like some advise on which route i should take, i:e demand the box replacing ar repairing or a change of vehicle if thats possable

I had the same problem with 3rd gear. I could not engage it without double clutching. Toyota has replaced the gearbox but now after 20k miles the issue is back. Is not that bad as it used to be but still. Someone told me that 3rd gear is rather unusual as most people complain about 4th- not sure what is the difference.

hi thanks for that, copcutts toyota in worksop have told me they have had the issue with 2nd gear and told me its an adjustment problem, its more annoying than anything else, i have to skip 4th and go to 3rd or 5th if im overtaking, going to ring them again and fingers crossed they replace mine
