hi all havent been on here for a while,

the mrs rav is playing up can any one help,

the cluch bitting point is on the floor and she is finding it hard to get the gears

, have orded a new slave cylinder for it, i had a look at the old one

does not look like its leaking but will fit anyway on thursday,

any got a "how to" with pics on how to fit this if not a PDF manual will do,

also i want to top up the gear box oil not sure where the filler is can you help on this

yee gads - I'm having some problems getting my scans to the PC otherwise I'd lost up the pics. Have you looked on the pinned topics? Or on rav4world?

If the box is anything like the Avensis (T-180) I've got, the filler/level plug is on the front of the box, and the drain plug is tucked low down towards the bell housing close to the engine. I used Silkolene Pro SRG 75 full synthetic ester gear oil. Its a straight 75w grade for my car.

Give Toyota a ring and ask them what grade and quality you need for yours using your car's reg number.

i i have found the gear box filler,

i think that the problem could be down to

old hydrolic oil, it has not been hanged since we have had the

car 5 years, bad iknow, i did recenty do the engine oil and filter

the problem first started after using the diff lock during the last

snow it didnt want to disigage properly
