1999 Cdx Estate Exhaust Blowing

Hi I have a V reg CDX 2.0 with 3SFE engine and ever since I had it it's had a noisy exhaust. I have replaced the down pipe, cat and silencer and its not much better. It was leaking at the down pipe to cat joint but since replacing both as they had corroded its been better but not brilliant.

The noise is kind of raspy, its definitely not the heat shields or the rest of it. I have got a manifold gasket to try and I'll probably replace the gasket seal between the lambda sensor and downpipe, but my query is this. Has anyone had the same problems and are there any considerations when doing the work?

I also have the leaky boot to spare wheel well problem, centre console CD lid clip and cabin filter hunt on my to do list. Oh the joy.

My airbox makes a wierd rattly raspy noise. Thought it was the exhaust to start with. Turns out its the joint between the intake pipe and the airbox itself.
