Hi. I've got a 03 yaris 1.4 d-4d and my cigarette lighter won't work. I've checked the fuse and that's fine. Don't know what to do next? Any ideas?

have you tested it with the ignition on.unlike many other cars,toyota cig lghters only work with ignition turned on.

if you have, than ignore this suggestion.

as the cig lighter insert are mostly standerd,the why not borrow one from another car (that working) to isolate the problem to the insert or wiring etc.

If after that you still can't get it to work then it maybe disconnected at the rear but this only happens when someone has had the headunit out for repair or upgrade and forgot to put it back.
