Greetings,

I recently got a '91 Imported G-limited MK2 Rev1 auto. The fuel consumption has been rather heavy but more importantly, it's been quite sluggish.

I've changed the air filter and have ordered new plugs (current ones are a tad on the sooty side) and oli filter which I'll change as soon as they arrive. However, was wondering if anyone has any tips on maintaining the engine for best performance ??? Should I check the Lambda sensor ? or are there any 'key' hoses/connections which I should pay special attention to for air leaks etc ??
