Hi does any one know how much oil, inc filter a 1.6 auris dual vvti 58plate holds?

as the dipstick is terrible to read!!

if you leave the car to stand for somme time,i do over night,then you will get a good level reading on one side of the stick.

its annoying i know.some cars you get a good reading within a few minutes of stopping the engine.

its to do with the design of the dipstick and the tube.

your engine is the 1ZR FE.oil change with filter is 4.2 ltr.

without filter is 3.9 ltr.

you will find this on page 392 of your handbook.
