hi guys .

i am looking for a st202 celica 98/R has 112,000 miles on the clock apart from a little rust or bad repair on the drivers door every thing looks good. all the electrics work as they should but what else do i need to look out for. the car has 11 months mot on it so atleast it is road worthy. the rear shocks will need to be replaced as advised on mot but do you guys with experience in this vehicle possible give me some pointers. he is asking for £1000 for it i know the shocks cost £150 = 80 for labour and it needs a tyre replaced very soon. i was going to offer £700-800 but just wanted to find out if i need to cheack for anything else. cheers.

I don't really know much about these cars but I would HPI it just to make sure its not recorded as a Total Loss etc. From what you have said ref work that needs to be done I think £7-800 is fair
