Key / Immoboliser Problem

Have had difficulty getting key in and out of the ignition barrel on my 2005 Avensis. Now I can get key in and out very easily, but when I remove the key and open the door to get out the car, there is a continuous beep. I can't seem to stop this unless I shut the door. The remote locking will NOT work with the key so I lock the car the old fashioned way by putting the key in the door and turning.

Any ideas please?

sounds like one of ur fob buttons are pressed in!

have u tried talking the keypart and seeing if it has muck around the buttons ?

....or is it time to change the Battery in the key fob....I always go for the simple fix first.

Have used 2 different keys but have the same problem with both keys.
