Had A Crunch

Hiya,

I work in Insurance claims so the situation you are in is one I have taken reports of all the time! It will go down as not being your fault so will all be claimed off the other persons insurance company anyway.

Now as for your mods that is a tricky one, when you called up to report the accident were you asked about if the car was modded? If yes what did you say? Did you mention the wheels and the head unit? What normally happens is if you have undisclosed mods on your car you'll either have to pay a higher excess or premium and in some very extreme cases the cover will be cancelled and your policy void and null. Like someone has already said theft is the tricky one cos if it was stolen and u hadnt declared it then obviously you wouldnt be able to claim for something they never knew about!

Hope that helped in some way.

Hi sam

So sorry to hear about the accident mate. Hope that you weren't hurt in anyway. Hopefully your insurance will get it all sorted in no time mate. Good luck!!

Sorry to hear about your accident mate :( Happened to me once and it was a police car that hit me!

I would definitely follow Yannicks advice though and at least see your doc, its very noble about not bucking the system (rare in this day and age) but you never know

hiya. Sorry mate. whats the latest update on this.

my girlfriends dad was sitting at lights a few weeks back, suddenly, "donk", the car behind had hit him, but very very lightly so no damage, but it kinda bounced of slightly. He got out and asked the guy what he was doing, and why he had just hit him. The guy replied "wasnt me". Her dad kinda lost his patience at that point, but no damage done so no probs.

I hope you get everything sorted.

as for the fords

Mondeo ST220 - slow

Ford Focus RS - Hmmm, still 2wd, and no overly quick

Sport Ka - slow.

New Festia ST150 - know nothing abut this, but the word fiesta put me off.

the only ford worth having is a MkV cossie, 4wd. Slow as standard, think 5.7 to 60, but far more tuneable than the above with out loosing grip.

Need Fiesta ST150 is a oil burner.

FIesta RS 180 is 2 litre petol and looks like it could be quite interesting especially with a few alterations get a really powerful car.

well, nippy. but hardly fast.

my own is close to 5, and still not fast.

gotta be sub 5 for that "fast" label. sub 4 for "%$( me, i kacked me pants" label

lol you might see one car per week up here that beats the sub 5 second category!

as i live in cheshire it's mainly the prestigious cars you see around here, things like RS6's, SL55 AMG's, Modena 360's although there is a new 300bhp STi scoob that does it in around 4.6 seconds I believe

the guy next door has a porsche carerra, which is nice :o

Oh and regards to my car they've just dropped me off a ford Ka... god knows how i'm going to make that look manly... it was hard enough in the yaris!

Plus what makes it worse is I always laugh at blokes who drive ka's :(:( I've been humbled

well, i'll keep u updated on how it drives.. never driven one before!

lol time for the ka verdict then :)

it's actually not as bad as i thought!

ride is comfortable, interior is tinny and flimsy, etc

overall though it's quite a fun little ride, having said that the brakes are ATTROCIOUS in comparison to even the 1.0 yaris :o

performance (lol) is about the same as the 1.0 yaris, really nothing to choose

certainly wouldn't swap the yaris for one though!

erm... let's just clear this up a little please guys... :D

I didn't ASK for a ford ka, it was simply given to me in the unfortunate event of having my car mutilated by another ford (conspiracy???)

I think they're out to get me
