Yaris 1.5 Ts 3 Door Hatchback - Fitting New Stereo

First of all hello everyone I am newly registered to these forums. Secondly I am sorry because I am sure this has been said elsewhere but I just want to be 100% before I purchase stuff. So if I have missed something sorry......

I have been reading through these forums to help guide me in the right direction for fitting a new Stereo in my Toyota Yaris 1.5 Sport 2001 model.

I have been unsure due to my car being a sports version and a lot of people having the 1.0 litre Yaris whether I am looking at the right parts so I thought hopefully you guys/girls could help out.

As you can see I have the standard factory stereo fitted, with the tray underneath. I am wondering which parts I need to keep the tray below and fit a stereo where the factory stereo is currently with a new fascia. I saw on another post something about a Fascia Surround: T55406-52010-B0 (Is this one right? Is there another name for it as it isn't on eBay?), a Double Din Unit: FP-11-03 (Rav 4) and a ISO Lead: PC2-17-4. Is that what I need?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have no problems fitting it, only that I get the right items. Also any recommendations of Stereos with USB and search option?

you'll need this if you want to keep the tray

if you can live without the tray, just install the headunit in the tray hole/gap.

there are very useful guides to help fit the stereo "elsewhere" on the internet.

I appreciate the help but I believe (and I could be wrong) that is for the 1.0 litre yaris which is why I have posted the images above. The Cigarette lighter is to the right and on that item you posted it is in the centre. Again thanks for the help but any help would be appreciated to make sure I get the correct items. I definitely want to keep the tray.

If it is a phase 1 yaris, I think I still have the fascia, double din unit and lead at home in my garage as I took the stereo out before selling it.

It was a T-Sport I had it installed in but don't know what difference there is between a phase 1 and 2 fascia.

Yes it is a phase 1 I believe, 2001 model. Its the VVTi Sport version so the interior is more sporty and has the cigarette lighter section to the right instead of centered. If you would be willing to sell the items how much would you be looking? I am gonna buy the stereo I just need the cable, fascia and double din unit.

Hope to hear back Dougie.

where do it start...

Firstly I would be worried about your car, something is rather fishy, the interior is the same as the MK1 Phase 1 Yaris TS, however the front of the car has a MK1 Phase 2 front, eg the bumper with the grey insert and teardrop headlights (possible front end smash?)

I previously owned a MK1 Phase 1 (51 reg), which looks like this at the front:

Secondly, that facia will fit, the position of the lighter is irrelevant to fitting, it has been moved the centre as the double din requires more space and has to do away with the ash tray.

Sorry I should have said, that image is not actually my car but I obviously picked the wrong one from google images. Mine is a 51 Reg too so its an MK1 Phase 1 by the sounds of things. I will take the image away and take a proper picture.

Honestly any MK1 yaris facia will fit any MK1, I've seen my fair share, having attended many shows with TOC and Yarisclub.

If someone else can supply you one great, if not try for one on eBay.

Heres one fitted to a TS:

updated with a pic for you.

Thats great thanks! Don't suppose you could tell me the exact models so I can order them today. I am also looking for a good stereo with USB plugin and search support. Wouldn't happen to have any ideas? I have heard Kenwood are good.
