Some of you may remember I bought my first IQ the middle of last year. A couple of weeks ago I went with my Mum to our Toyota Dealer to order her a White Aygo Go. In the showroom was a 2011 IQ with the new interior I fell in love with this new inside the deal was done and here she is:

I kept the Red gear knob I had done from IQ no1 ( it matches the red stitching & dash )

I bought a Boot Buddy as I use the car as a two seater and stops the shopping landing in the rear footwell

But the real reason for the Boot Buddy

Hope there are enough pics Tops

Your IQ looks great Katy!

I have just ordered another one but won't get it for some months apparently.

I don't mind waiting though, gives me something to look forward to in the summer!

Is your new one an IQ3, as it has chrome mirrors? Oh, I have just noticed the wheels are IQ2 ones, so disregard that question!

Apart from the interior trim, have you noticed any other changes/improvements(?) compared to your previous IQ?

Thanks for posting the pics Katy.

Impulsive, buying another one so quickly :-) but worth it!

It looks really good, I hadn't seen a close up of the seats or the real thing so it will be retro fit for me now.

Love the chrome covered mirors too and of course, your trademark (?) red gear knob.

Rear of IQ looks to be a perfect place for a Miniature Schnauzer too!

Enjoy it...

I added the Chrome Mirrors its an IQ2 nearly ordered the IQ3 but the journeys I do day to day are on country roads so didn't see the point.

The rear now has proper seat belt holders instead of holes in the plastic ( big improvement they don't fall out or rattle )

Im getting more miles to the gallon! confused don't know why.

Have you ordered an IQ2 or 3 ? What Colour ? Any options ?

Glad you like the pics :-)

Alf loves the boot he sits and looks out of the rear window all the way to work each day

Hi Katyb

Your car looks great. I picked up my one today and will try and post my own photos. Mine is an iQ3 multidrive and I love it. Bless my 8 year old son. He said it was better than a Lambo. I don't know about that, but it's not so fuel hungy.

Katy,

My new one is to be another IQ2 as I have been delighted with my current one and don't want to risk changing something that works for me.

I have gone for red as I have always had red cars, my wee MG is red too, and I also wanted the sat. nav option so having a non metallic paint saved about £400 towards the cost of it.

I know it is a dubious luxury but as I am retired now it will probably be my last "new" car so I thought I would get what I really wanted.

I fixed the rear belt rattle problem with those seat belt "button" things that allow them to hang in a different position to prevent rattles but I also had to fit them to the front belts as they disappeared down the sides of the seats when not in use, which made it difficult to find them again.

Have they fixed that or will I have to do the same thing again?!

If you discover any more subtle changes, let us know!

Ooooo I wanted Red but couldnt have the grey interior :-( so had to choose between Silver,White,Blue or Black very nearly went with White but my last IQ was Silver and so easy to keep clean I decided to stick with the same colour.

The seat belts in the front are still the same! I had a Mini before the IQ and they were as bad!

Yes, I liked the look of the grey interior too, but decided to go for the red and so couldn't have it...I think the red stitching and a gear knob a la Katy would go well with the red exterior. Boo, MrT.

I presume my next to useless glove bag will be fittable into the 2011 IQs with the non-grey interior, unless they have changed the spacing of the poppers...

I still have a couple of those seat belt "button" things so I will use them on the front belts when I get the car, fingers crossed, to put the buckles in a more accessible place, when hanging unused.

The silver IQs that I have seen look really solid and sturdy, as well as funky (is that word still used?), so you have made a good choice.Definitely one of the better colours for an IQ.

Hi Katy

Love the car

Bought my first iQ2 in White in March 2009 and then in June 2010 traded it in for a blue iQ2

I love the new interior though so feel another change coming on soon
