Solar Panel Works :-)

I know it's just an excuse to use it but I have just had to go out to a meeting and the Prius has been sitting in the sun for a few hours at work ... So I thought I'd try out the remote a/c button - which worked really well ...

From my office window across the car park I pressed the button and then left the key and went to see what it did ... you can hear the little fan unit running under the bonnet and the display and a/c and fan lights come on ...

Despite it only being 10 degrees outside - you could feel the cool air being gently blown around the car ...

It will be a nice feature for the next eight months or so ;-)
