JUST sealed the deal on my newest venture!! Finally at the ripe (old?) age of 54 years and several days.......:-) I have finally achieved my nirvana!! I have bought my first Celica!!!

I have wanted a Celica since I first sat in a fellow servicemans whilst stewarding at Wimbledon Tennis in 1982! He was from Germany(Leeds) and drove a GT something or other! I say that as the car was so jacked up and added to! It was originally owned by a BMW Garage owners son. he spent a MINT on it and his dad found he had been caught speeding (IN Germany?) And so made him sell it. Car was worth around 40,000 marks (I was told?) he paid 10k for it! Even then I thought it was the most GORGEOUS thing I had ever seen!

BUT I wander (I tend to do that nowadays??) I just sealed the deal on this gorgeous lump of BLACK metal?? I HATE Black cars?? NOT ANY LONGER! All I have to do now is fix the 5th gear problem? So to the forums for some advice! And thanks for looking!
