hi all just for a bit of info that may help other toyota owners the yaris has been in to toyota for a full diagnostic both on electrics and engine no faults or fault codes were found, the egr valve was ckecked and found to be alright,at last they found a problem the pipe from the inter cooler was restricting air to the turbo this is what was making the car go into limp mode new pipe then the yaris should be back to a1, i still dont know why all the diagnosic failed to show a fault or fault code but it was explained that it would only happen when the turbo required boost thanks all stuart
