Hi mate, It's very big job on a later D4D which has a timing chain as the engine has to come out :o. A '56 plate will more than likely be of this type as even some '06 plates are timing chain as opposed to cam belt so get a quote before you buy, loads of £££££££££££££££ in a Toyota garage, £3k plus!!!! .. If it's not dirt cheap then steer clear of it..

Regards ..... Pete.
