hey iv literally been driving for 3 months and this is my first car. iv got a 2001 yaris and the exhaust stared making crazy noises. anyway the man at the garage said the centre pipe has broke in 2 but to buy a new piece would be expensive (200 + labour) iv seen a second hand whole exhaust system but its for a 1 litre engine. mines a 1.3 will this be ok do u reckon?

Hmmm. Central silencer section for a 2001 1.3 Yaris is listed at £62 here incl VAT.

Can't help but think that your garage isn't getting you the best option...

I suggest you try a couple of exhaust "fast fit" specialists for quotes as they will be able to source an exhaust at the best price...

Its definately a different system between the 1.0 and the 1.3, so you need the right 1.3 part....

This bosal catalogue shows the various parts for different models quite clearly but there are no prices on it....
