how well do the the non genuine parts hold up on these beast i have a high performence car myself witch eats non genine parts for breakfast but how do they last in these?

any help would be great and any links to the corect parts again would be great also if anyone knows the part numbers for the sensors that would be awesome

The O2 sensors are a very common failure part in the Avensis.

Quite often it's the heater in the sensor that fails, but you can do a quick check with a multimeter to see. As you look at the engine from the front, there are two plugs (grey and black) on the right edge of the engine just under the black plastic engine cover. There are also two plugs (grey and black) above the alternator. Take each one off at a time and check the resistance across the two black wires. They're normally about 16ohms I think, if you have one that's very different or is an open circuit then it may just be that one that needs replacing.
