Tns410 - What Did Yours Come With?

Hi, I purchased a new T-Spirit on 31st January which came with the TNS410 Tom Tom installed. Could anyone tell me whether it came with a memory card? I didn't get one with mine and I am just wondering whether I was supposed to.

Also, I know that you can remove the PND display but can anyone tell me which case is best to buy to store it in, when it is not in the car? I thought it would have come with a protective sleeve or cover but I didn't get one of those either and don't know whether I should have.

HI,

The unit i got with my T Spirit did not come with a memory card or protective cover. Toyota do sell a travel pack with charger, windscreen mount for other cars and also a good cover. No doubt these can be obtained on eBay aswell.

Yeah, I don't have a case either (not even a user manual: had to search for that and download it - in the end, found two versions that contradict each other!).

Toyota do sell one for £30. Not good value compared with the Tom Tom store: from £10 to £20 for basic models. However, the Tom Tom store doesn't have any cases for the TNS 410. :S Anyone know which case would be a suitable alternative?

My wife got the TomTom xxl case from Halfords last night for £21-99. Fits like a glove.

I just purchased a case from the Tom Tom Store on line. It doesn't seem to have a code but it fits a 4.3 inch model. Fits well.

Which memory card would fit into the unit?

I bought this one on eBay 4GB SANDISK SD SDHC MEMORY CARD CLASS 4 HIGH SPEED NEW for under £6 on the TomTom site its about £25, i cannot see why this one will not work, will let you know when i download the free maps to it.

I bought a neopreen case from Wilkinsons. £1.50!!!!! Any SD card will fit.
