Hit A Badger On A Motorway.

I was driving on a german Autobahn A44 at night, doing 75mph when suddenly I've spotted a badger-like animal in front of my car. Couldn't do much apart from a split second thought that I can only carry on and pray for that poor thing and that I won't crash (with my baby daughter and wife behind my seat). Luckily it went between the wheels and only took out my bumper lip and a plastic cover that is attached to it under the intercooler. It is a part like this one - Front lip

Does any one know where can I purchase such replacement parts plus bolts and plastic bolt holders that go into the bumper?

Would apprecaite any help.

Yes, but for an insanely overpriced amount...it's literally a piece of rubber and 10 bolts, for which I can bet, they can charge up to £100 or so.

My first port of call would be the main dealer then you have a price to go by (they are guaranteed to perfectly fit and sometimes they are as cheap as a pattern part)then you can decide whether you purchase new or pre owned.

You may stuggle to get a non genuine part as it's a relatively new model however I have obtained the part numbers for a 2007 model (which I think is different to yours but the prices should be similar)

Thanks very much. I will maybe pay a visit to Mr.T anyway and see what they have to say. Especially that there was a middle piece under the cooler that fell off as well with the bolts etc. I don't even know how to call it. I'll ask some T-serviceman to dive under the bumper and see what is missing.
