Very nice Corolla.

I'm french and I have a Corolla TS, I flash on your rims. The Volk TE37 are beautiful but too expensive. Where did you buy these replicas? What is ET?

Thanks !

Thanks man :D

Well, the company where I bought them doesn't sell them anymore, but you can still find them via google.

The name is "Ice Cool Racing: Tokyo", 17x7, pcd 4x100 + 4x108, ET 38 ;)

Has someone got a good website or seller to buy a new doubledin fascia?

A fascia that really fits perfectly.

Because this one is really crap.

Very bad fitting

This is one of the things holding me back from getting a new headunit, I've yet to really see a double done fascia that fits perfect though hopefully someone else will be able to offer you better advice. I've been looking at the 3100 through to 3300 at the moment as they look like an absolute bargain so do please let us no if you find one thats a good fit.

I actually like that, it looks good

Thanks Paul :)

@ anonyx, "GazzyG" has got a perfect fitting fascia, so they exist, seems I picked the wrong one :P

And an update: the rolla will probably roll on 18" in 2012!! ;)

Want to keep the same style of alloy, the "volk TE37 style", and I have to say, in pcd 4x100 there's almost nothing that I like.

Except these ones: Inovit ST 6, size 18x7.5, ET 38.

Someone got experience with these?

Any chance you or GazzyG could share which one it is and where it's available?

This is the link he gave me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CT23TY07-Toyota-Corolla-Double-Din-Facia-Adaptor-Kits-/400259130677?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d314da535&clk_rvr_id=293611343512&afsrc=1

And another "update" : my winter tyres and wheels are finally on.

3 of the 4 tires were leaking, because the person who had been repainting the wheels sandblasted them too hard.

So I had to go over them with some sand paper, put the tires back on, and then it was ok :)

Hehe thanks :P

Here's a vid and some pics of the 3000k xenon in the foglights.

Could look more green than is actually is.

Skip to 2:19 to watch the vis 16x faster :)

They look great! I just hope they don't annoy/blind the driver of the car in front or the driver of the car coming the other way...!

Yes I know, that's why I will get them adjusted first, before using them :D

looks awesome man, i have to get some laugh.gif

maybe next year :D

but yeah they look really good

Thanks guys.

Hehe, I have just adjusted them to the lowest setting, and turned them on during driving.

Nobody flashed, so I guess they are fine now :D

This morning I received my new 3000k xenon bulbs.

Tested them first by quickly connecting them onto both ballasts, and they worked fine.

So I began replacing the 8000k bulbs with the 3000k ones.

Once everything was done, I switched them back on to adjust them to the correct height again.

But then I noticed that the left bulb wasn't as yellow as the right one

I've switched my ballasts from left to right too, but the left one is still not so yellow as the right one.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Or should I just ask the seller for a new set?

dsci0174j.jpg

(In real the colour difference is harder)

with these hid kits which are usually made in china or somewhere in the far east getting perfect colour consistency is difficult in my experience. you can try swapping bulbs but it will be pot luck if they match or if there is still mis match

The seller has responded that he will try to get this solved, so I guess I will get another set of bulbs :)

And a next update for 2012: New alloys!

18 inch this time ;)

Inovit ST6, 18x7.5, ET 38, gunmetal with polished lip.

Here's an example, only difference is that I will get smaller tyres (205-35-18)

New 3000k bulb set is on the way :)

And also are the wheels, still haven't received them.

And I guess I will stay with the 3000k xenon, I like it alot more than the 8000k, looks meaner :D
