Tyre Rubbing

Hey

I bought an MR2 yesterday and when I turn corners or hit a pot hole you can hear the front wheels rubbing against the car. I have very little knowledge about cars but I am guessing the wheels or tyres are too big for the car? Anyone had a similar experience or know if this is the cause?

I have attached a pic so you can see how close the wheels are to the body.

Those wheels are definitely too large for the car ,

So I will have to buy 4 new alloys and 4 new tyres?

I think I have noticed the problem. The tyres on the back are smaller than the ones on the front. Im going to switch the front and back ones about and see if it helps.fingers crossed!
