Hi there, I have recently tried changing my fuel filter on my 2009 "58" reg avensis but cannot find any easy way to get to it, both to drain it and change it. Any advice?

Hi,

Is yours the T25 model or the latest T27? My 2007 (T25 T-180) wasn't that hard to do. If you take off the pipe that runs from your air filter box to the Turbo you can get access to the filter. Its better to take the fuel pipes off and remove the whole assembly and undo the filter that way in a vice. You'll have some diesel that will pour out so be ready for that.

Some say that you have to take the air filter box off to get to it. But I found that you dont.

Hope this helps
