Hi all - new to this forum - so saying HI!

I currently have a Verso T4D - at 155,000 miles a wonderful car just a tad long in the tooth!

I'm about to change to an Avensis T3-S. Lovely car - 2005 low miles at 37,000.

So here's a question. How good is the in-built Nav system (a TN300??)?? I didn't get a real chance to play with it...

Seems more laborious to programme than your typical TomTom - or is that just a case of getting familiar with the controls?

Which one does it have? The one with the pop-up colour screen? Or the small screen next to the fuel computer?

I have the earlier one with the small screen and it's a real chore to use. The actual navigation is ok but it takes an age to add in a destination and it doesn't support postcode search.

Fraid it is the little one :-( I still have a tomotom and Navigon on my iPhone to use tho :-)

Hi!

I have got it. Use it already 4 years. Works very well. Never had problems with it. No post code support and does not show you the shortcuts but never got lost. I crossed Europe 3 times with it and went once to France- always reached the destination, but slightly complicated and not a top one for work. I amhappy with it.

Well.. that's encouraging - I guess I'll have to be the master of my sat nav :-)
