Hi All,

I have just bought a 07 avensis 2.0D and i want to put a AUX input into the car so i can listen to my iPod. Has anyone had any experience of doing this before, recommend anyone who could install it? i want to keep the original head unit.

Have a search for Connects2 (Connects2 CTVTYX002 for the Avensis version). This goes onto the CD changer connections on your existing head unit. I think that it only works on some models of head unit and in particular I believe that it does not work on units with a SatNav, as the SatNav uses the connections.

I was going to fit one, but then realised that it is more convenient (and cheaper) to just burn MP3 tracks onto CDs and play those. You can get several hours of MP3s onto a single CD.
