Avensis T3-S D-4D (2007)

Hi all

Im in the process of buying a 2l Avensis T3-S D-4D (2007). From what I can gather pretty soldi car but is there anything I should be particularly aware of any problems I should be looking out for. Cars done 38k miles which is about average.

After how many miles/years should the fan/cam belt be changed as I beleive this might be expensive to do and dangerous to leave ?

Hi mate,

good news for you, the 2007 model doesn't have a cambelt it uses the more reliable chain which more than likely will never need changing.

The 2 ltr D4D is very reliable but always keep an eye on the water level as they can be prone to water pump leakage. Just make sure it gets serviced on time and you should get many miles of trouble free motoring.

Good news indeed, its a full toyota service history and will be maintained that way roll on Sunday when I can pick it up :)
