Sunroof Problem Avensis(Yes Another)!

Hi all, new to this website, hoped that somebody could throw some light on this.

The sunroof in my Avensis does`nt work at all, not really a problem but it dropped

on the back end a bit the other day and has started to leak, just wondered if anyone

knows if there is a manual overide and if so where is it?

Hi There, I just fixed my s/r today (mine stuck fully open) you need to get into the motor housing (Take out the light and switches peel back the lining to get at the 2 screws alan key type) see my post, its bit messy to get in but you can take the motor off by taking out the 2 alan key screws be careful as I could only manage one. If you try the motor out of its spline it should spin freely. There are 2 or 3 moves for open tilt but you should be able to work out which cycle it is on and match it to the position of you S/R hope this helps
