Hi there,

If I was to purchase the 2.0 D-4D, is fair to say that I shouldn't have any Headgasket issues?

I havn't heard many...although water pump could go bit funny.

But personal experience with MK2 Avensis, no failures so far except driver side hub bearing.

117000 miles no problems. Had to change brake pads and put on new tyres recently and grease brake pedal to stop squeak. Service every 10,000 miles (personal choice) and no problems to report

Best of luck. let us know how you get on with it, and how do they run diagnostic for that.

Would appreciate input of others, who know how to keep an eye on it, other than coolant getting low quickly.

Cheers.
