Cold Draught In Front?

2007 DCAT: from time to time during the coldest winter spells I keep feeling cold air coming from somewhere around knee level, either by the hand brake or under the seat.

Has anyone else experienced same and if so what was the cause?

The heater setting is either on screen or feet and screen and there seems to be no other common factors.

Hi, and welcome to the club

I believe the Aircon will cycle cold[er] air every now and then to prevent drowsiness. The fact that you are noticing it means you are awake

Thanks! I'm living in Sweden, so when cold air gets cycled, it really IS cold...like minus 10 degrees C, it starts to put my legs to sleep, so not sure it's helping

check the rubber gromit that the steering shaft goes through...it might be adrift

thanks, I guess that's down by the pedals somewhere (I'm mechanically non-gifted ;) I'll take a look. I really thought the air was coming from the centre of the car, either under the seat or near the gear lever/ handbrake but can't see anywhere obvious that it's coming in.
