98 Celica Alarm

Hello

Can anyone help me out with a problem im having with the alarm on my car? Its a 98 Celica GT

I only got the car a couple of weeks ago and when i was looking at it i noticed the remote locking was not working, although the central locking worked fine with the key so i thought nothing more of it.

Another job i had to do was change the clutch which of course involved disconnecting the Battery.

When all back together the car started first time and still starts every time, however after a few seconds the indicators start flashing for a while then stop as if the alarm is going off but the siren is muted??

I've done some searching online and read about loads of different problems, does mine just need a reset?? How do you actually do this?

I think the fob not responding is a different problem to the indicators, maybe this needs a reset to? the Battery is good and the led lights up?

Any help would be much appreciated
