Buying A Toyota Yaris

Hello Everyone,

My dad has decided to look for a Yaris prefably in red or blue, to help him I have decided to join the forum for him and I ll be servicing his little car as and when needed and helping him look for one.

He has given me a price range of approx £3k to £4k to look for one but doesnt mind spending more for the right car.

What do I need to look for? Before I start helping my dad.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Checkout what you'll get for your money on AutoTrader etc.

You should be able to find 03-05's easily in theat price range.

Is he worried about the cost of running the car?

Will he be doing any regular motorway work?

3 or 5 door?

If he's only looking at doing local trips a 1.0 will surfice, however if runs on major "A" Roads are a regular trip then the 1.3 may be more in order.

Service history is a good thing to find, IF you find a car with a internet link to it post it up in here and I'm sure someone will give you an opinion on it.
