Toyota Celica Gt4 Wheels On A Carina E 97

Hey guys. I bought a set of Celica GT4 Wheels and tyres a few weeks back. 5x100 pcd 205/50/15. New tyres

like an excited school boy i fitted them immediately but noticed that the lug bolts only came about 80% through and therefore i was about 3 threads short compared to my stock 14 inch steels. i thought id try them none the less and drove a few miles in them and the car steered like a !Removed!. it felt all over the place. there was alot more tyre noise and the turning was heavy and the steering seemed to kick out a little bit.

Before i sell these on I want to know the following if possible

if they are definately compatible with this car

Are they safe to drive with the lug bolts only 80 through the wheel nut

is it a case of needing to have them balanced

any help would be greatly appreciated as they do look nice when fitted

you may need to fit plastic spigot rings over the hub , measure both sets of wheels at the centre hole to confirm they are the same size.
