Anyone got tints or know anywhere that does em cheap. How much am i looking at nowadays.

Also, does it count as a mod insurance wise and does it take the insurance down?

Cheers, Chris

For tints all round can be cheap as £100 or up to £200 depending on where you go.

lol it won't bring your insurance down and with new regulations 'apparantly' now in force you may be told by the police to remove any front side tinted windows you get done.

I had it done on my old car and will do again on my corolla, not too dark but with the new regulations I may have to get the fronts taken off. Your rear side and rear windows are still ok to be tinted

hit up www.sdautotintin.co.uk and tell them Jon from Unity sent you.

Or if u r feeling like a challenge, why not tint the windows yourself!

It does take some time to get it perfect, but in the end, you'll be only paying about £30 quid to get tints for the whole of the car

As for insurance, make sure u don't crash the car if u haven't declared your mods, as they will refuse a payout after they find the "standard" induction kit and exhaust etc when they inspect the car. P.s. also keep any original parts u take off!

I got my Landcruiser tinted the same shade as the BMW X5, had done both sides and the rear for £250.

The guy came to my house on a Saturday morning to fit them aswell

Where abouts are you.

Cheers guys, yer i have checked out that site, it sounds good, i have just emailed him, cheers Unity Jon.

i live in Dartford in Kent so there aren't many places around, i suppose Suffolk might be an option though. Do you guys recommend doing the front windows or don't you think it will be worth it if i have to take them straight off? Obviously i would like to save money, what do you think i should do?

Cheers, Chris
