Replace Timing Belt & Water Pump Rav 4 D4D

Hello guys i'm news on forum

i writing to have information about my Rav 4 D4D jahre 2002

For security reason i would change the timing belt(120.000 km)

I would like to know whether or not it is convenient to replace also the water pump(Note:the water pump was replaced at~50,000 km in 2005 including the belt; currently not lose water)

I would remove the belt then have a look for any leaks or if you can feel any play. If you have any doubts then change the pump.

Ok Thanks but a mechanic friend of mine sudgest me that when you change the T belt for safety also change the water pump because the tension pout of new belt could cause problems on the bearing of the old water pump
