Does anyone have any information on when the new FJ Cruiser is scheduled to be released? Any other info on it?

The FJ Cruiser was a concept car displayed at the American shows last year, and maybe again this year.

I am not sure if it is the same as, or related to, a concept made by an American LandCruiser restoration company (I can't remember which) at Toyota's request.

AFAIK there are currently no plans for it to go into production, it was more of an opinion tester.
