Avensis 1999 Fog Light Problem

hey all, 1st lets say hi to you all

little help needed, ive got a uk spec toyota avensis mk1 1999 se

my problem is im trying to install fog lights not factory fitted on the se hence me having problems

what ive discovered is that the switch/stalk is different and so i got a fog light stalk thinking that they would work but didnt

behind the blancs on the bumper the connectors are there for the fog light

ive connected them all together but i dont seem so have no luck, its not bulbs

i dont no if theres a relay or fuse to activate the loom or something still im missing,

please help

There needs to be a relay in the system. Can't say about the 1999 model but the 2003+ has a relay located behind the instrument panel that operates the fogs.
