Hi Co Mot Fail ? Cause

Hi there can anyone please tell me how to sort ou the problem of sorting out the high CO in exhaust. The High CO is at high idle speed on MOT. 0.40% at 3240RPM (Normal upto 0.30)Lambda is 1.01 (N 0.97 to 1.03) Can it be sorted by adding fuel injector cleaner to fuel? Please advise

Probable cause could be a build up of carbon in the engine try some engine cleaner like FORTE or similar injector probably wont help but i suppose anythings worth a go.
