Are Rav 4's Selling?

Thing is, I don't want a newish CRV, or I may as well keep the RAV (which I do love), but I thought maybe, just maybe if I could get a CRV for @3K, I could justify it, rather than a £600 fiesta/clio/206 etc...

Looking on evilbay and on auto trader, I have come across half a dozen in the past few weeks on an 03 plate with less than 100k on the clock for around the 3k or just under mark - it seemed to me that RAVs of an equivalent age are a lot more? Just my findings - don't flame me for it, but I was surprised... They aren't as pretty as a Toyota tho. :)

2006 crv,s you can get in diesel form, before that date its all petrol. So you will pay more without a doubt for diesel . The executive crv,s are equivalent to a rav 4 xt5 , but the crv will be newer in diesel form.....newer models i am not clued up on.......but the 4.2 model has a silly price tag and I don't know why. I am always asked if I want to sell mine.........???

I am pretty much in the same boat, had the Rav for coming up to 4 years now and thinking of changing it but just can't bring myself to do it :crybaby:

Up until this vehicle I had owned 52 cars in 24 years of motoring

I have looked at a few cars recently and thought about it long and hard, then I wash my Rav and she looks like new again and I think bugger it she can stay for a bit longer

I am flaming fed up with my Rav, it doesnt go wrong, it starts first time each time, it gets me to where I want to go regardless of snow or ice, if it is hot the air con blows out icicles, if it is too cold it heats up (eventually) it has averaged 41 MPG over 25 months and 24k.

but the thing is I may have to buy some of those black things that rotate this year, the ones that touch the ground - shucks forgotten what they are called :D

Someone once called it a oil burner, but the only reason I lift the bonnet is to fill up the screenwash.

:toast:

Gus

p.s. this is really testing fate....
