Temperature Sensor

My toyota temperature sensor gauge is giving me reading that are too low, and then too high. I have tried;

changing the thermostat twice

the waterpump

the radiator

the belts, and hoses

I don't know what else to do?

Have you tried the guage itself. Mine went T.U. soon after I bought my car.

Yeah, it smells that the sensor is blown. I have problems with my sensor too, the gauge uses only the first part of the dial.

Ill try to change it, but first I need the right tool.

Have you tried the guage itself. Mine went T.U. soon after I bought my car.

I have a question, the fuel gauge is the same that temp gauge?, if so, i could interchange the for the test
