Reversing Camera?

Hi,

A friend of mine told me about a US web site that sold a colour camera with night vision to allow the centre console display in the Prius show the view out of the back of the car when Reverse was gear engaged!! (http://www.coastaletech.com/camera.htm)

Has anyone heard of this in the UK, and better still, has anyone got one??

I'm looking to buy a Prius in the next couple of months and I'm a complete gadget freak -- and a reversing camera would just top it off!! :thumbsup:

Andy,

the kit they show was for the Prius classic rather than the 04. I wonder how they wire it in? I guess it would work on the 04? Bit chunky though!

Anyway, if you want an 04 Prius, get in there quick. Selling like hot cakes it seems.

Hi,

I've heared of rear parking cameras etc in RV's, thought about getting one for my motorhome, but am selling that to get my Prius! It sure looks good and may turn out cheap to buy via the web, have it sent over here and installed. Trouble is, i've ordered rear sensors to be put on the prius, so am in two minds as to whether it would be worthwhile for me.
